The Cambridge Festival 2022

Hello,

The Cambridge Festival is back for another year of inspiring events happening both online and in person. It launches today and we've proud to have contributed some great events for you to attend. And the best part is they're all free!

A couple of our booksellers, Alice & Kinga, had a wonderful conversation with nutritionist and climate activist Dana Ellis Hunnes about her new book Recipe for Survival. Watch it here.

We have another pre-recorded conversation that Alice & a couple of friends had with Charlotte Markey, the author of Being You: The Body Image Book for Boys. The recording is available here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CPejBotnFvQ and we're sharing it in advance of a live Festival Q&A. If you're interested in joining the live event too, you can sign up here: https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_suVsvXX6SWWyBIMo...

The event will cover the issues that so many of us are keen to learn more about today.

If, however, you'd rather escape the present you can take a trip back in time by following our History of Science in Cambridge audio walking tour (https://festival.cam.ac.uk/.../history-science-cambridge...) where you can learn more about some of the greatest scientists and mathematicians to pass through Cambridge. You can find out more about here: https://cupbookshop.co.uk/pages/history-of-science-in-cambri...

Undergraduate students from Cambridge University have also been recording a series of podcasts for the festival, which we have been proud to support. They have spoken to eight Press authors and will be releasing the conversations throughout the next fortnight. You can find them here: https://soundcloud.com/university-of-cambridge/sets/cambridg... and follow them for updates.
